Description The Federal Guard at pistol practice. Left to right: guard officers G. H. Parlet, Franklin Langstraff, R. J. McGill, Sgt. E. E. Henningsen, J. M. Voshell, Sgt. H. B. Chittick, Sgt. R. C. Holcomb, Lt. C. W. Fawcett, Lt. J. E. Vandiver, and Capt. M. R. Wardall. In late 1941 the Federal Guard was established to protect all vulnerable government property at Coulee Dam from sabotage, theft and possible military attack. During 1942, this group consisted of up to 65 members.

Format Original photographic prints scanned at 24 bit color, with 4000 pixels by the long side, for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. Prints were then batch translated into JPEG files. These JPEGs were then added to the CONTENTdm database at WSU Libraries
