Title Transformer Core
Description The core of a special 36,000-kv.-a. transformer, just unloaded from a gastight car in which it was delivered from the General Electric factory. The transformer is provided with full-capacity secondary windings for both 115,000 and 230,000 volts. An employee is shown unloading the core of a transformer before assembly.

Format Original photographic prints scanned at 24 bit color, with 4000 pixels by the long side, for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. Prints were then batch translated into JPEG files. These JPEGs were then added to the CONTENTdm database at WSU Libraries;
