Description Special elbows were required to connect a Shasta turbine scroll case in one turbine pit with a penstock in an adjoining pit because the Shasta turbines turned in a "left-handed" direction while the Grand Coulee units turn "right-handed. Format Original photographic prints scanned at 24 bit color, with 4000 pixels by the long side, for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. Prints were then batch translated into JPEG files. These JPEGs were then added to the CONTENTdm database at WSU Libraries.
