| Description | A 527-ton rotor, for the first of the 108,000 kilowatt generating sets, being fitted inside the stator or stationary section of main unit L-3. Two 350-ton cranes, joined together by means of a 60-ton lifting beam consisting of two single-trees and a double-tree, lower the rotor into place.
