Description Assembly in progress on the rotor for a 108,000 kv.-a. generator at the left powerhouse. The extension pieces have been attached to the shorter arms or spokes of the spider, and stacking of the rotor rim laminations or plates has been started. The rotor rim or ring will be built of about 12,0000 of the plates shown in the picture. Each plate weighs about 35 pounds. Format Original photographic prints scanned at 24 bit color, with 4000 pixels by the long side, for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. Prints were then batch translated into JPEG files. These JPEGs were then added to the CONTENTdm database at WSU Libraries
