Title | Closure Gate Placement |
Description | A closure gate approaches a diversion channel. The gate will be placed against the steel guides and then lowered to cut off the flow of water through the channel. The lattice truss on which the man is walking braces the top of the roller-path guides which have been previously mounted on each side of the channel. By the end of July all of the diversion channels at elevation 980 had been closed and cemented through use of these closure gates. |
