Description At the west end of the proposed Ankeny dam site on the lower end of the Grand Coulee Balancing Reservoir. The head frame and shop buildings are for the exploration shaft which was sunk at this point. The men are standing at elevation 1580, the glow line of the Grand Coulee Balancing Reservoir. Exploratory drilling at the proposed site of Ankeny dam and the Grand Coulee Dam Balancing Reservoir.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
