Title "Concore" Drilling Machine
Description The "Concore" drilling machine used for removing cores from hardened concrete. Typical cores are standing alongside the machine, they were shipped to the Denver laboratories for testing purposes. Core samples told inspectors, engineers, and project planners information regarding foundation strength, excavation levels, and even the best sites suited for construction of Grand Coulee Dam, Power plant, and related facilities.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
