Title Totem Broadcasters Dam Program
Description The Totem Broadcasters from radio stations KOMO and KJR of the NBC system at Seattle record a program at the dam site. A total of seven recorded programs each of 30 minutes duration was made on the Columbia Basin Project. They were released in October, 1939, as a part of a series of radio programs entitled "Washington at Work" From left to right, Clarence Clark, technician, A. F. Darland, Field Engineer, and Roland Bradley, commentator. Numerous radio shows reported from the Grand Coulee location, including a CBS broadcast on June 19

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
