Title Trashrack Painting
Description An unpainted rack is lowered into the prime dipping tank. The primer is a coal tar pitch paint. (CTP-1), and one coat is applied. After a 72-hour drying interval, the rack is dipped into a hot mix of TP-2 pitch for the second and final coat. A table of painted items is available in CBPH vol. VII, 215.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
