| Description | Looking east into the main unit generator room of the left power house during the course of construction. The downstream wall is near to completion for bays L-1 to 9 inclusive, and construction of the power house roof in progress at L-9, 8, and 7. By close of 1939 all exterior walls and roof slabs had been completed for main units, L-1 to L-9 and the control bay walls reached to elevation 1012. |
