Description Small dump trucks were used to haul out the muck during the driving of the pumping plant discharge tunnels. The workman standing alongside the discharge chute operates the air ram which closes the gate when a load of muck has been placed on the truck. Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
