Description Grand Coulee Dam at the close of the M.W.A.K. Company Contract. The construction trestle at elevation 1024 tops concrete which had been poured to a maximum elevation of 1010 in the abutment sections and to elevation 945 in the spillway section with the exception of blocks 39 and 40 which were carried to elevation 1000. The power house foundations were completed to elevation 948.8 and the training wall to elevation 980. This long view photograph shows progress on the Grand Coulee Dam at the end of the M.W.A.K. contract covering excavation and foundation of the Grand Coulee Dam

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
