Title Wood Plugs on Spillway Slope
Description Cribs in wood plug closing spillway slope on blocks 39 and 40 to steel cell - cluster "G" in west cofferdam. A total of 2-1/2 million board-feet of lumber used in plug. Photograph of construction activities at the Grand Coulee Dam. These cribs in particular served to reinforce the block structure of the west cofferdam.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
