Description Bridge pier repairs. Inside caisson (interlocking piles) showing top rows of 36-inch I-beam walers and timber bracing. The 110-foot diameter steel sheet cofferdam used to excavate and pour the concrete required timber braces to support the structure against the force of the river.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
