Title River Diversion Channels
Description Three of four main low slots (elev. 910) west of "block 40" for river diversion in 1937, estimated capacity of all, 80,000 c.f.s. Bents in high trestle in upper part; wood spillway plug to cofferdam section "G" in lower left. The downstream end of the Grand Coulee Dam foundation. These diversion channels allowed diversion of the river for east bank construction activities and later allowed further construction on upper portion of the dam by blocking channels off and filling with concrete.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
