Title Block Cooling Shaft
Description Longitudinal gallery, 900 elevation, with supply and return headers for cooling system. Another image of the gallery where pipes for cooling could be accessed from both ends of the dam. Not only would these pipes prevent excess temperatures impacting the dam integrity, they prevent the freezing and thawing cycle that is so detrimental to the durability of the dam structure.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
