Grout Tank

Washington State University Libraries

Field Value
Title Grout Tank
Description Grout tank for "C" hole grouting operations. This tank is atypical of those used to transport grout to the pumps for grouting the crevices and cracks found in the bedrock of the Grand Coulee Dam construction site. Workers applied pressures from 200 to 400 pounds per square inch to fill grout holes and ensure deep penetration and effective sealing of the fissures underneath the foundation of the Dam that could eventually undermine it from the foundation.
