| Description | Looking through high trestle bents at ice dam in deep crevice on ease side. This image gives some ideas of the enormity of the "Ice Dam" and shows the refrigeration plant used to maintain the freezing temperatures in the numerous pipes placed through the wall of mud to solidify it for excavation and grout sealing. |
