Photograph shows the steel cells of cluster "G" and "D" separated by the timber-crib plug. Excavation activities in progress on the river bedrock and the Westside bank area. Excavation of the west cofferdam area amounted to 10,000,000 cubic yards and was deposited mostly in Rattlesnake Canyon with the elaborate conveyor system begun in December 1934. |
