Description Left to right, shows steel cells in cluster "G" of west cofferdam, timber-crib plug to block 40 and steel cells in cluster "D. Bedrock excavation west of structure. Photograph shows the steel cells of cluster "G" and "D" separated by the timber-crib plug. Excavation activities in progress on the river bedrock and the Westside bank area. Excavation of the west cofferdam area amounted to 10,000,000 cubic yards and was deposited mostly in Rattlesnake Canyon with the elaborate conveyor system begun in December 1934.

Format Original photographic prints were scanned at 24 bit 3000 pixels by the long side for master TIFF files on an Epson Expression 10,000 XL scanner. While 24 bit 150 PPI JPEG also created and added to the CONTENTdm database at the WSU Libraries.
