Sur., and from Actual Field Surveys by Henry Carr, C.E., March, 1888. This map depicts this area in its heyday. The majority of the mines here are silver mines, with a small amount of gold mining. Format Original maps were scanned in color at 600 dpi on a Microtek 9600XL scanner and saved as TIFF files. The TIFF files were converted into the MrSID format at a compression ratio of 12 to 1 using LizardTech's Geospatial Encoder 1.5 software. These MrSid files were then uploaded into the CONTENTdm database at the Washington State University Libraries. image/jpeg
