| Description | 1 map : col., 22 x 34 cm. Pasco was established in 1884 as a railroad town and incorporated in 1891. Its name comes from the Peruvian town of Cerro de Pasco. A surveying engineer for the railroad was reminded of his time in Peru by the unpleasant conditions he encountered in Pasco. |

| Format | Original maps were scanned in color at 600 dpi on a Microtek 9600XL scanner and saved as TIFF files. The TIFF files were converted into the MrSID format at a compression ratio of 12 to 1 using LizardTech's Geospatial Encoder 1.5 software.
