| Description | 1 map; 23 x 26 cm. This map is one of four surveys of prosepective pass crossings bound together in this volume. However, when the Northern Pacific finally completed its passage across the Cascades in 1888, the passage it had chosen was Garfield Pass, renamed to Stampede Pass, which is not one of the four initially surveyed. | Format | Original maps were scanned in color at 600 dpi on a Microtek 9600XL scanner and saved as TIFF files. The TIFF files were converted into the MrSID format at a compression ratio of 12 to 1 using LizardTech's Geospatial Encoder 1.4 software.
