| Description | 1 map: 14 x 19 cm. A small, footprint map of the State College of Washington campus. The map does not include street names, but all buildings are identified. Many of the periphery buildings on this map were a product of the upswing in the national economy during 1928 and early 1929. A number of buildings were constructed at this time, including the large and important addition of a hospital (see to the left of the title.) | Format | Original maps were scanned in color at 600 dpi on a Microtek 9600XL scanner and saved as TIFF files. The TIFF files were converted into the MrSID format at a compression ratio of 12 to 1 using LizardTech's Geospatial Encoder 1.4 software. These MrSid files were then uploaded into the CONTENTdm database at the Washington State University Libraries. image/jpeg |
