Description | Here is shown the first stages of the east powerhouse penstock trashracks. The portal transition forms at the head of the penstocks were the largest forms used on the job; weighing 13 tons and requiring more than 10,000 board feet of lumber. A total of over a hundred million board feet of lumber was used in building the Grand Coulee Dam. |
