Description | The concrete is being placed on the east side in some of the deep crevices in the bedrock Table of Concrete Strengths. 6"x12' test cylinders, 28 day. Low - heat cement - 4,928 cylinders averaged 4,195 lbs. per sq. in. - Modified cement - 5,180 cylinders averaged 5,565 lbs per sq. in. Low-heat cement strengths will equal the strengths of modified in 2 to 3 months age. The mix is 1 part cement to 9.7 parts of sand and gravel Concrete was first poured on the east side on November 06, 1936. |
