| Description | This is the mixing plant operator's control and indicating board. With these controls he was able to automatically weigh any desired amount of components for the various mixes, and to handle batching, mixing, and dumping operations. The lights indicated when these operations were completed, as well as showing the status of each mixer. A graphic record of all components and operational time for each batch of concrete was automatically recorded on a single roll of paper by stylus pens. On... Often called the "House of Magic" this panel mixed the cement to varying specific ratios with the push of a button. Run by one operator, the machine dispensed water, cement sand and gravel in the proper portions to make cement. The machine also kept statistical information on cement usage, component functions, and mixing times. |
