Description | A diver about to make a descent to the river bottom on exploratory work. In the late summer of 1943 Colin O'Donnell, a U.S.B.R. diver, descended 274 feet in the forebay of Grand Coulee Dam, for the purpose of removing an obstruction from one of the main unit penstock coaster gate guides."
