Title Underwater Diver
Description A diver about to make a descent to the river bottom on exploratory work. In the late summer of 1943 Colin O'Donnell, a U.S.B.R. diver, descended 274 feet in the forebay of Grand Coulee Dam, for the purpose of removing an obstruction from one of the main unit penstock coaster gate guides." All diving operations at Grand Coulee Dam not use motor-driven air compressors, with a special trap having filter pads to remove the moisture and oil fumes. The divers for M.W.A.K. were Bob Patwell, A. A. Davis, and Basil Warren.
