Description Two months later driving of the piling along the west bank of the river for the cofferdam was proceeding rapidly. Note the excavation being done with buggies having a capacity of 30 cubic yards, and drawn buy 75 horsepower tractors, which dump the material on grizzlies where bulldozers force it thru onto the lateral conveyor belts. Under the MWAK contract common excavation for the dam foundation, powerhouses and pumping plant was bit at $1.00 per cubic yard, and under CBI it was $1.50....
