Field Value
Title Mixing in chemicals
Subject Canyon
Description The plant is a conventional water treatment facility with four stages: disinfection, coagulation, sedimentation and filtration. A flash mixer adds hypochloride as a disinfectant. Often, hydrated lime is added, too, to boost alkalinity, since acidic water eventually would eat through pipes.
