Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; years as it has continued to serve and meet the needs of its owners the ability for us to make use of the canal is like your neighbors home would be to you you dont rebuild it to meet your needs without his approval this type of approval could never be obtain under acceptable and reliable conditions from the provo river uater bater users association it is essential that water be made available to salt lake county and north utah county it can be made available only by the construction of these two aqueducts in a iii anner manner ranner that is safe to the health of the citizens of both of these counties again I 1 co coirmend coir smend mend the bureau for the concern and effort that they exerted to accomplish these water viater requirement delivery plans with minimum impact and damage to the environment of the citizens of the district the districts board of directors is concerned on the continued increase in federal ownership of land within the state of utah they are opposed to this project being used as a vehicle to remove private land from private citizens and establish it as federally owned land the board as stated in the attached resolution officially objected to the condemning of private land along the provo river to provide fishery accesses to the river the people in the state of utah have been greatly benefited by enhanced fishery and recreational opportunities through the construction of water user projects in fact without the reservoirs built by water users the opportunity for fishing would be vry bleak in the state of utah following the same pattern the construction of the bonneville unit will again enhance and provide greater fishery and recreational opportunities to the citizens of this state this will be accomplished by new reservoirs stabilization of other reservoirs improved and reguia regula regulated reguiated ted strean stream flow A good 157
