Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; 168 a large sandstone boulder on the flood plain of Pa riette parlette draw the main panel consists of 2 anthropomorphs anthropomorpha one is bottle shaped with legs and feet represented and has a torso decoration of a cross with 2 short vertical lines projecting downward from the horizontal member the other has a D shaped body no extremitiesf extremities and a long neck topped by a small head in addition there are carelessly executed sheep a zigzag and 2 solidly pecked figures that may represent birds to the northwest of the main panel there are depictions of snakes and horses west of the panel is is a solidly pecked anthropomorph very different in style from those on the main panel this figure is more naturalistically depicted in the general shape and proportions of the body and wears an antenna like headdress condition well preserved style emphasis on anthropomorphs anthropomorpha indicates uinta fremont style archeological archaeological Arche ological associations none noted 42un6o4 42un604 figure 25 description this site consists of 2 panels pecked into the varnish of 2 sandstone boulders panel no 1 consists of 2 simple anthropomorphs anthropomorpha 1 of whom may be holding something in one hand panel no la consists of the upper torso arms no fingers and head of a horned anthropomorph condition both panels are badly weathered panel no la has been badly vandalized by marksmen style probably uinta fremont style archeological archaeological Arche ological associations none noted 42un6o5 42un605 figures 26 27 28 description panel no 1 consists of several figures of undeterminable nature and age panel no 2 contains among other things horses and a cowboy wearing chaps and is historic panel no 3 includes a faint figure that may be an anthropomorph and a more recent
