Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; demand on strawberry area acres type of service reservoir acre feet sevier river 100000 supplemental 36000 36000 goosenest Goos enest 1230 15230 new 4200 nephi 5750 new 185200 18200 elberta 1070 new 4500 62900 2 environmental impacts of the alternative the primary change in the environmental impacts of this plan compared to the impacts of the proposed bonneville unit plan would be associated with the stream fishery bypass below strawberry aqueduct and the construction of a diversion dam in place of upper stillwater dam and reservoir the state recommended streamflow stream flow bypasses to maintain a stream fishery in the various streams would be met this would reduce the adverse impact on the streams but would result in less water being exported to the bonneville basin as indicated in the description of this alternative thereby reducing the impacts associated with irrigating new land and delaying impacts associated with increased population along the wasatch front d proposed plan with nondevelopment of provo bay and recommended minimum fishery flows 1 1 description of the alternative this alternative plan is a combination of two previously described alternatives proposed plan with recommended minimum fishery flows 11 par 3c ac and arc prc proposed nosed posed dosed plan with nondevelopment of provo bay par 3a aa under this alternative the minimum flows for fishery purposes recommended by the utah state division of wildlife resources would be satisfied with a resulting decrease of 24300 acre feet annually in diversions to strawberry reservoir the effect of this bypass on the uinta basin portion of the proposed plan would be the same as previously described in paragraph 3c ac the effect of this alternative on the bonneville basin portion would also be the same as described in paragraph 3c ac except that nondevelopment of provo bay would eliminate the provo bay features plus 1760 acres of full fuli service lands in the mosida monida area the nondevelopment of provo bay and its effect on the project have been described in paragraph 3a aa the features of this alternative are shown in figure elk eik eek H 14 567
