Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; 9 comment second paragraph paragraph wording is a little midleading misleading mid leading concerning how much of taskeech Tas keech feeder canal will be in a pipe again our recommendation is that all of that water be placed in a pipe at least on national forest land so that there will be no need for deer proof fencing game crossings or road bridges response refer to the responses to comment 2 above and comment 4 of the fish and wildlife service v 10 comment page all ail ali A ll 11 4 it is not clear to us in the writeup or in table A 3 if the farnsworth canal on forest lands south of the bridge crossing to the moon lake road is included during the past 11 years this section of the canal has washed out at various times with the latest washout occurring in 1978 with the proposed high water mark so close to the canal we believe if there should be further underground seepage to this section it will cause severe problems this section of the canal should be included in this rehabilitation program response there are no provisions in the plan for rehabilitating this section of the canal however the bureau of reclamation would enter into an agree ment with the farnsworth canal company to insure that the canal is adequately maintained 11 comment 5 first paragraph second sentence white lily should replace island as one of the two lakes at their natural level response the FES has been revised to show that farmers water lily and white mille lakes are presently not fluctuating because of malfunctioning of necessary structures these lakes will require some construction in addition to general cleanup to stabilize them 12 comment page A 12 6 first paragraph last sentence there is no mention or any illustration on figure A 3 of the proposed trail completely around the reservoir above the high water mark for fishing access our lake fork recreation management composite plan shows a trail was proposed to be constructed around the reservoir on forest land with the possibility of a tie across indian land at the lower end of the reservoir the 1 69
