Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; attachment C environmental commitments 21 protection and relocation of the walker and norris family graves will be accomplished in coordination with family representatives 22 the bureau of reclamation will continue to cooperate with the state of utah the environmental protection agency wasatch and summit counties affected water user organi zations lations zat ions and other interested parties to implement the water quality management plan that has been developed for lor for bor the entire deer creekjordanelle reservoir area 23 mine tailings material from the abandoned olsonneihart Olson Neihart site will either be properly stabilized in place or exca ecca vated bated and removed to a site above the maximum water level of jordanelle Jor danelle reservoir this will be accomplished in cooperation with the environmental protection agency the state of utah and wasatch county 24 mine tailings material from the abandoned mayflower site will be properly stabilized in place this will be a cooperative effort by reclamation mayflower recreation developers and the state of utah the mayflower de velopers velo pers have the prime responsibility for stabilizing this site 25 the bureau of reclamation will monitor the water quality of the reservoir its tributaries tributa ries and the provo river below the dam to ensure that levels of dissolved oxygen and water temperature adequate for fishery and other water use purposes are maintained appropriate corrective measures will be implemented should problems develop 26 the ongoing wasatch front total water management study will be completed and contain evaluation of water con servation alternatives including the dual water system concept 27 water conservation provisions will be included in all new amended or renegotiated water sales and repayment contracts 28 the bureau of reclamation will cooperate with the state of utah wasatch county the soil conservation service and other interested entities to plan and implement im proved irrigation systems 29 A plan will be developed in consultation with the utah state historic preservation officer for the evaluation and if necessary mitigation of cultural resources that may be identified during construction or during the study of any project areas not yet surveyed 101
