Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; UPPER PROVO RIVER reservoirs trial lake dam was completed and the final inspection conducted on october 22 1990 filling of the reservoir from wall lake began the same day the reservoir has been filled to 5 feet above the top of the intake structure before filling will be allowed above this level other requirements must be met CUWCD personnel monitored the initial filling of the dam to test the outlet works WEST VALLEY HIGHWAY construction continues under a utah department of transportation UDOT contract on the reach of west valley highway extending from 2 2100 100 loo south to 3 3100 100 loo south salt lake county coordinates e A meeting was held with UDOT november 1 1990 regarding problems with locating over jordan aqueduct reach 3 a portion of west valley highway south of 3100 5100 3 100 loo south street participants included representatives of the central utah water conservancy district CUWCD salt lake county water conservancy district SLCWCD metropolitan water district of salt lake city MWDSLC the utah state attorney generals office salt lake county public works and utah projects and regional offices A meeting with the same agencies participating was held november 2 1990 with governor norman H bangerter subsequently a cooperative agreement jordan aqueduct aqueductwest west valley highway among the CUWCD SLCWCD MWDSLC UDOT and the united states has been drafted and is under review jordanelle JOR DANELLE DAM GENERAL the jordanelle Jor danelle dam wetland mitigation conceptual design submitted under a contract with ch2m cham hill was reviewed meetings to discuss the document were held on november 14 1990 with the corps of engineers and the fish and wildlife service and on november 20 1990 with the division of wildlife resources jordanelle JOR DANELLE DAM STAGE 2 crews have stopped embankment placement for the winter with approximately 26 percent placed as of november 30 1990 and are covering the embankment with zone 4 material for protection in the emergency spillway area placement of the contractors concrete subinvert subinsert sub invert slab was completed and excavation and cleanup of the foundation were halted for winter shutdown in the low level outlet works upstream tunnel crews completed rough cleaning of the tunnel invert tightening of timber blocking in the crown installing reinforcing bar and placing concrete crews resumed drilling of production holes on 8x8 foot centers in the contractors proposed riprap quarry area located in the southwest corner of borrow area A in the outlet works crews continued work on wall forms of butterfly valve vaults and installed reinforcing steel in the energy dissipator area in the gate chamber and access shaft application of shotcrete shot crete continued tunnel pressure grouting continued in all tunnels jordanelle JOR DANELLE wastewater FACILITY PLAN formulation of plans for jordanelle Jor danelle basin wastewater facilities are continuing on november 3 1990 the jordanelle Jor danelle technical advisory council and UDOT representatives met to discuss possible use of highway 40 right of way for a wastewater conveyance pipeline around the abutment construction at jordanelle Jor danelle dam IMP g 22 S A 3 fiat eini fivt fi vt
