the utah geological and mineral survey she also serves as a member of salt lake cites citys advisory board on public utilities sewer and water works she graduated from bryn mawr college pennsylvania and received a masters degree in geology from wesleyan university connecticut then she worked as a geologist for the honduran government the national academy of sciences in washington DC and for ford bacon and davis utah before being appointed state geologist in 1981 As a three term legislator she served on the natural resources committee each term and numerous other legislative and community boards presently she serves on several committees including the advisory council for water resources research utah state university the state mapping advisory council utahs high level nuclear waste utah and has been practicing law since 1953 he attended the utah state university brigham young university and graduated from the university school of law he is the attorney for payson city goshen city and genola city and represents many of the irrigation companies in the southern end of utah county he is the founder of mcmullin orchards which has extensive orchard holdings packing and active member of the LDS church served as deseret stake YMIA board for twenty years holding many positions as explorer commissioner and activity counselor also held many ward positions has worked in civic activities to improve community and county he is dedicated to improving utahs resources |
