Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; contract at thome thi thl thiime theime ime will enable utah to protect its water rights and will prepare the way for the future water developments with the realization that water is a most important key to utahs future we respectfully urge that the eligible voters show their support for this great water development program by voting yes december 14 wallace F bennett frank E moss U S senator U S senator laurence J burton david S king U S representative U S representative the central utah project is the key to the development of utahs resources for the next 100 years without it utah can never get the benefit of its share of the colorado river our last major water resource all eligible utah voters should cast a resounding yes vote december 14 to provide a future of growth for themselves and their children former governor george D clyde 0 I 1 AN A g ii decepa13er VO y E thelontral A theentral utah project is a vital and far reaching development to provide utah waters to meet the needs for industrial municipal and irrigation growth by making available utahs share of the colorado river water the utah water and power board encourages the citizens of the seven county district to support this proposition which will authorize the central utah water conservancy district to execute the contract with the federal government the utah water and power board the board of directors of the central utah water conservancy district urge that citizens register a favorable vote at this election to enable the beginning immediately of construction of the bonneville unit of the central utah project this project will bring great benefits to the state of utah providing water for our cities industries and farms and ranches it will strengthen the economy open the door to future growth provide new jobs and improve recreational opportunities A favorable vote will show the congress that utah is ready to move ahead with its water developments thus paving the way for other projects so necessary to the state and its future the board urges as large a turnout at the election as possible to show those who may covet utahs share of the colorado river water that the citizens are determined to protect their water rights and to put that water to beneficial use the board of directors central utah water conservancy district diftrict urging citizens to vote yes at the december 14 election to give the go ahead signal for the bonneville unit of 0 the central utah project are left to right sterling jones chairman of the board of directors of the central utah water conservancy district former governor george D clyde and governor calvin L rampton the project has received bi bipartisan partisan backing and support from groups throughout the state
