Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; dave mcmullin attorney and counselor at law was appointed to the board of directors of the central utah water conservancy district during 1975 mr mrmullin mcmullin Mr Mullin has lived in utah county all his life he has been a fruit farmer for over 30 years of which his farm extends to 325 fruit trees his company also picks and processes his harvest mr mcmullin attended utah state university brigham young university and graduated from the university of utah school of law he has been practicing law since 1953 during those years he has been payson city attorney santaquin San taquin city attorney and attorney for goshen city mr mcmullin has been on the board of strawberry hiline ailine canal and on the board of the strawberry water users association he also represents the legal interests of other various irrigation companies in utah county he is active in civic affairs being president of the chamber of commerce president of the utah county bar association and now is serving on utah county sheriff merit council mr mcmullin brings his talents as well as his expertise and enthusiasm in water related activities to the central utah water conservancy district the board of directors is pleased to have a man of mr mcmullin s caliber represented on the board irl ill appreci aaion ation sterling D jones sterling D jones was appointed to represent utah county as a member of the original board of directors of the central utah water conservancy district which was organized in march 1964 mr jones served as the first president of the district during which time he directed district activities resulting in the signing of the repayment contract with united states for the bonneville unit of the central utah project he was also instrumental in playing a key role as chairman of special committees which resolved difficult and sensitive problems the board of directors of the central utah water conservancy ser vancy district would like to express to mr jones its appreciation and gratitude for his expertise and leadership in developing the district in its initial years it was through his judgment and influence that advancement planning and construction programs of the central utah project were implemented it is with the deepest appreciation from the directors of district we extend our thanks to sterling D jones for his accomplishments
