Relation Central Utah Project; Western Waters Digital Library; strawberry reservoir has become a major pro producer ducer of cutthroat trout and is basically a fishing reservoir A recent survey of the recreation users at the reservoir reservoir has shown that over 99 percent of the people at the reservoir go specifically for the fishing soldier creek dam was completed in 1973 and enlarged strawberry reservoir to four times its original capacity permanent recreation facilities have been constructed and consist of 555 developed campground units 80 picnic pi units unit s 2 ten lane concrete boat launch ramps boat mooring and boat slips fish cleaning stations and modem morem toilet facilities are available 2 i jordanelle Jor danelle dam has a state park that will provide some of the best recreational opportunities in the state of utah the reservoir will provide ideal conditions for swimming fishing sailing jet skiing and many other water sports jordanelle Jor danelle reservoir stocked approximately 400000 rainbow trout in the spring of 1994 in addition to the rainbow raifibow trout 9000 small mouth bass were added to the reservoir as well in the spring of 1995 the utah division of wildlife resources planted additional rainbow trout to complete the jordanelle Jor danelle reservoir fishery jordanelle Jor danelle is accessible by US hi highway 9 hway 40 bottle hollow reservoir is managed by the ute indian tribe facilities developed at the reservoir are first class fishing is the major attraction however water sports of all types occur at the reservoir they also have concrete boat ramps and restroom facilities steinaker reservoir was completed in 1962 as the major feature of the vernal unit of the central utah project the utah division of parks and recreation manages facilities at the reservoir which provides recreation fo for ror r nearby residents swimming boating water skiing fishing 31 campground units 16 picnic areas 2 sand beach areas concrete boat ramps and restroom facilities are available at this reservoir V 4 boi bpi lot N n currant creek dam was completed in 1978 and the reservoir was full by may 1986 it is accessible by a 13 mile long improved gravel road from highway 40 recreation activities at current creek reservoir located in the uinta national forest include camping picnicking boating fishing hiking and big game hunting in the late fall it has a modem campground with 98 camping units handicap facilities a concrete boat ramp a scenic hiking trail paved roads and parking areas toilet facilities trailer sewage dump station potable water and a visitor contact station there are fishermen parking areas around the reservoir
