Description | Mexican Valley Mater for irrigation of lands in the Mexicali Valley is obtained by gravity and pump diversions from the Colorado Hiver below the International Boundary and by ground water pumping from 592 wells (372 district and 220 private). The operation of all wells is controlled by the Mexican government.
