Description Journal: Anthropological Notes, University of Utah Department of Anthropology, "Historical Sites in Glen Canyon, Mouth of San Juan River to Lee's Ferry", Number 46, June 1960, page 36 were made to provide access to a bench some 40 ft. above the canyon floor which air photographs show is actually the older floor of the canyon. Once this is reached it may be possible to pass around the dry waterfall blocking progress on the present floor and to ascend the canyon some distance without again being stopped. Bibliographical Notes The University of Utah Archeological Survey of Glen Canyon through the end of the 1958 season is reported in Fowler et al. (1959). The Adamses...
