Description Journal: Anthropological Notes, University of Utah Department of Anthropology, "Historical Sites in Glen Canyon, Mouth of San Juan River to Lee's Ferry", Number 46, June 1960, page 26 Historical site 121 This is a large grazing area extending along the left bank of the Colorado from mile 43.3 to 44.6 consisting of a flat sand terrace about 500 ft. wide at the maximum point and a high sand slope at the base of the cliff. A forked stick hogan and ramada poles are located on the sand at about mile 44 about 100 yards from the river. The site is reached by a stock trail that heads immediately upstream from a dry waterfall (about mile 43.8) and descends steeply along a narrow...
