Since that time the relations between the Navajos and the whites across the Colorado have been peaceful. The extent to which the Crossing of the Fathers was used by the Indians after the peace of 1870 is not known. Jacob Hamblin crossed there at least once again when in September, 1871, he brought supplies to the second Powell expedition (see Little, 1881, 108....
