Joseph E. Pogue, assisting Herbert E. Gregory in his study of the Navajo country (1916, 1917), visited the Bridge with Gregory in July 1910 and published an account (1911) of the discovery together with the measurements of the White Canyon bridges and Rainbow taken from data in Douglass' surveys.
