| Description | Since its establishment in 1868 the Navajo reservation had been enlarged a number of times by executive order. In 1884 the boundaries were extended on the west to 110ยบ 30' W. longitude (which splits the channel of the Colorado River between miles 12.2 and 13.2 above Lees Ferry) and on the north to the channel of that stream throughout its course in Utah.
