Description Tape-recorded interview describing the shipwreck of the troop carrier "Tuscania" on the coast of Scotland, his survival and recuperation; Edward Everett Harpham was part of the University of Washington class of 1914 in the College of Forestry. Harpham, a veteran of World War I, was aboard the troop carrier S.S. Tuscania when it was torpedoed in 1918 by the German U-Boat UB-77 while transporting American troops to Europe.
