Description In 1994, the University of Idaho conducted a third year of research on the water quality-limited section of the middle Snake River from Twin Falls downstream to Upper Salmon Falls Dam (RM 614.8 - 581.0). This study focused on the highly productive shallow Crystal Springs Reach (Rm 599.5 - 601.3), rich in aquatic macrophyte development.
