Description In the 1980's, growing concern over the declining ground-water levels in the Mud Lake area prompted development of a ground-water flow model by the U.S. Geological Survey (Spinazola, 1994a). The model was applied to estimate the long-term change in ground-water levels and surface water flows from seven different water use scenarios (Spinazola, 1994b).
