Description In 1993, the University of Idaho conducted a second year of research on the water quality-limited section of the middle Snake River from Twin Falls downstream to Upper Salmon Falls Dam (RM 614.8 - 581.0). This study focused on the highly productive shallow reach rich in aquatic macrophyte development throughout the Crystal Springs Reach (Rm 599.5 - 601.3).
